Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 3.77% or 9.3 points to trade at 256.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) added 2.63% or 5.5 points to end at 215.0 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 2.62% or 4.00 points to 156.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 1.66% or 2.20 points to trade at 130.60 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 1.14% or 1.10 points to end at 95.80 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 0.98% or 1.9 points to 192.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 320 to 243 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.07% or 0.03 to $41.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.74% or 0.33 to hit $44.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.50 to trade at $1075.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.44% to 9.2655, while USD/SEK rose 0.28% to 8.6962.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 99.61.
