Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 4.21% or 410.0 points to trade at 10160.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 3.20% or 380.0 points to end at 12260.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 2.63% or 60.0 points to 2340.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 0.36% or 40.0 points to trade at 10920.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 11860.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) 0% or 0 points to 4095.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 4 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.17% or 1.75 to $147.43 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.34% or 10.50 to hit $3113.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 1.65% or 22.45 to trade at $1334.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.58% to 2919.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 886.37.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 96.54.
