Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HEL:CGCBV), which rose 2.71% or 0.76 points to trade at 28.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HEL:OUT1V) added 2.68% or 0.1060 points to end at 4.0660 and YIT Oyj (HEL:YTY1V) was up 1.87% or 0.10 points to 5.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HEL:OTE1V), which fell 2.01% or 0.110 points to trade at 5.360 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HEL:WRT1V) declined 1.38% or 0.52 points to end at 37.13 and Neste Oil Oyj (HEL:NESTE) was down 1.27% or 0.30 points to 23.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 83 and 7 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 6.02% or 2.87 to $50.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 6.56% or 2.79 to hit $45.35 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.93% or 10.40 to trade at $1133.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.68% to 1.1169, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.7267.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 96.26.
