Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 7.23% or 600.0 points to trade at 8900.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 2.29% or 35.0 points to end at 1565.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.50% or 240.0 points to 16200.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which fell 2.40% or 230.0 points to trade at 9370.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.82% or 220.0 points to end at 11900.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 1.30% or 340.0 points to 25760.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 13.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.82% or 220.0 to 11900.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.17% or 1.48 to $124.22 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.84% or 57.50 to hit $3069.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 2.70 to trade at $1088.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.41% to 2940.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.85% to 830.56.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 97.86.
