Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.13% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 7.18% or 125.0 points to trade at 1865.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 6.60% or 920.0 points to end at 14860.0 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was up 3.76% or 270.0 points to 7460.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 3.36% or 400.0 points to trade at 11500.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.44% or 260.0 points to end at 17740.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was down 0.93% or 160.0 points to 17120.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.47% or 1.88 to $126.03 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 14.50 to hit $3067.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1145.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.55% to 2900.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.51% to 745.39.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 95.64.
