After-Hours Stock Movers:
United Airlines (NASDAQ:UAL) rose 0.5% after it reported third quarter results that topped consensus estimates and approved a $1.5 billion buyback program, its first since 2020. Management noted that revenue trends improved as the industry reached an inflection point in the quarter with unprofitable capacity exiting the market.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT) rose 6.50% after third quarter results beat estimates on the top and bottom line. Intermodal volume increased 5% over the same period in 2023.
Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:IBKR) fell 4% after EPS trailed estimates.
Novocure (NVCR) rose 8%, adding to an intraday gain of 10.7%, after it announced that the FDA has approved Optune Lua for concurrent use with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors or docetaxel, for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC) who have progressed on or after a platinum-based regimen.
Bright Minds Biosciences (DRUG) fell 6% after surging 1,446% intraday on massive volume.
