Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.67% or 140.0 points to trade at 8540.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.00% or 300.0 points to end at 30380.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 0.63% or 4.0 points to 635.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.44% or 40.0 points to trade at 2740.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.41% or 860.0 points to end at 60000.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 0.73% or 140.0 points to 19000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.11% or 0.15 to $137.77 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.10% or 2.00 to hit $2099.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.30 to trade at $1258.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2866.17, while BRL/COP rose 0.43% to 925.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 100.43.
