Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.06% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 1.27% or 15.0 points to trade at 1195.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 0.84% or 10.0 points to end at 1200.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.72% or 10.0 points to 1395.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.12% or 120.0 points to trade at 10560.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.99% or 10.0 points to end at 1000.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) shed 0.86% or 100.0 points to 11540.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.34% or 0.47 to $140.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.72% or 14.00 to hit $1960.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 21.25 to trade at $1275.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.30% to 2876.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 915.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 100.64.
