Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.75% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 4.57% or 11.00 points to trade at 251.50 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 1.78% or 0.92 points to end at 52.62 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.75% or 3.00 points to 174.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which lost 5.15% or 5.70 points to trade at 104.90 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.98% or 1.72 points to end at 41.48 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) shed 2.99% or 6.2 points to 201.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 386 to 297 and 102 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.57% or 0.27 to $47.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $49.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.76 to trade at $1245.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.5727, while USD/SEK fell 0.91% to 8.2285.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 94.04.
