Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.35% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.85% or 450 points to trade at 12130 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.61% or 440 points to end at 12620 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.92% or 26.0 points to 1383.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.61% or 11.0 points to trade at 673.5 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 0.61% or 1.8 points to end at 293.8 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 0.56% or 1.60 points to 281.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 63 to 51 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.78% or 1.33 to $49.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.54% or 1.29 to hit $52.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.74 to trade at $1231.44 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.7800, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4388.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 98.81.
