Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.13% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.60% or 9.0 points to trade at 572.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.33% or 3.60 points to end at 274.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.19% or 4.2 points to 357.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 2.25% or 29.0 points to trade at 1261.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.24% or 8.5 points to end at 371.1 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 1.11% or 0.42 points to 37.35.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 64 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.53% or 0.32 to hit $60.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.19 to trade at $1276.69 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.4008, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.60.
