Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.42% or 7.4 points to trade at 313.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.65% or 8.4 points to end at 516.4 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.58% or 7.5 points to 480.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.58% or 6.2 points to trade at 385.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.16% or 5.0 points to end at 425.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 0.30% or 30 points to 10020.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 39 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.23% or 0.14 to $60.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.40 to trade at $1352.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 5.9770, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4493.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 88.83.
