Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 13.39% or 5.84 points to trade at 49.47 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 4.02% or 415 points to end at 10745 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 3.98% or 390 points to 10190 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which added 0.06% or 0.4 points to trade at 701.0 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.09% or 0.06 points to end at 69.86 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) gained 0.33% or 1.4 points to 430.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 22 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.22% or 0.72 to $59.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.81% or 0.51 to hit $63.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 11.30 to trade at $1327.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.0707, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4474.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 90.17.
