Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.12% or 285 points to trade at 9420 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.83% or 270 points to end at 9810 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.65% or 4.1 points to 252.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.04% or 11.5 points to trade at 553.5 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 0.98% or 2.8 points to end at 284.1 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.70% or 2.2 points to 312.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.99% or 0.47 to $47.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.26% or 0.62 to hit $49.78 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1343.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.5818, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4434.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 94.49.
