Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.98% or 16.4 points to trade at 428.9 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.44% or 4.3 points to end at 303.0 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.93% or 3.20 points to 348.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 2.77% or 5.5 points to trade at 192.7 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.92% or 5.8 points to end at 296.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.71% or 18.0 points to 1037.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.06% or 1.87 to $59.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.82% or 1.83 to hit $62.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1318.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.0939, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4444.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 90.42.
