Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.40% or 295 points to trade at 8960 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.14% or 285 points to end at 9350 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 2.16% or 6.2 points to 293.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.25% or 38.0 points to trade at 1132.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.60% or 5.0 points to end at 307.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.55% or 3.8 points to 240.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.28% or 0.99 to $44.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.91% or 0.88 to hit $46.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 3.40 to trade at $1346.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.6609, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4400.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.63.
