Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 2.46% or 11.00 points to trade at 457.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.43% or 226 points to end at 9520 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.81% or 3.9 points to 486.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 3.61% or 21.8 points to trade at 582.2 in late trade. Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) declined 3.27% or 4.5 points to end at 133.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 2.24% or 7.7 points to 336.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.86% or 0.96 to $50.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.70% or 1.03 to hit $59.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 10.30 to trade at $1218.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.6128, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4610.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.368.
