Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 1.30% or 145 points to trade at 11260 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 0.98% or 3.40 points to end at 349.40 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.93% or 2.3 points to 250.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 10.73% or 71.6 points to trade at 595.4 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.23% or 6.7 points to end at 200.8 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.88% or 22.0 points to 1150.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 47 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.46% or 0.93 to $64.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.84% or 0.58 to hit $69.78 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.10 to trade at $1322.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.74% to 6.1866, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4473.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 91.63.
