Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.88% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 2.87% or 5.7 points to trade at 202.2 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.48% or 5.30 points to end at 364.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.88% or 2.9 points to 332.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 2.42% or 5.80 points to trade at 233.90 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.30% or 7.8 points to end at 333.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.47% or 160 points to 10700.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 63 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.26% or 0.17 to $64.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1339.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 5.9894, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 88.91.
