Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.19% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.88% or 3.0 points to trade at 345.3 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.43% or 0.8 points to end at 199.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.34% or 1.30 points to 385.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 5.56% or 34.8 points to trade at 591.2 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 3.97% or 18.2 points to end at 440.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 2.11% or 20.8 points to 963.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 41 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.98% or 0.71 to $73.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $77.39 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1251.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.4371, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 94.93.
