Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 0.41% or 1.80 points to trade at 433.40 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) fell 0.51% or 3.2 points to end at 622.8 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.61% or 1.5 points to 243.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 5.09% or 16.8 points to trade at 313.0 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 4.64% or 426 points to end at 8760 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 4.34% or 8.75 points to 192.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 27 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.35% or 1.77 to $51.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.44% or 2.12 to hit $59.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1246.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.36% to 6.5549, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4636.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 96.685.
