Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 4.11% or 9.9 points to trade at 250.9 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.66% or 32.0 points to end at 1236.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.94% or 0.68 points to 35.78 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 2.72% or 7.30 points to trade at 260.80 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.09% or 19.0 points to end at 888.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 2.04% or 6.5 points to 311.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 67 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.51% or 0.79 to $53.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.48% or 0.82 to hit $56.29 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.15 to trade at $1167.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.69% to 7.0947, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4341.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.67% at 102.55.
