Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 1.53% or 5.9 points to trade at 392.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 0.68% or 0.35 points to end at 51.75 and ISS A/S (COP:ISS) was up 0.47% or 1.10 points to 237.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 3.25% or 10.6 points to trade at 315.5 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) declined 1.91% or 230 points to end at 11800 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was down 1.70% or 200 points to 11560.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 68 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.53% or 5.9 to 392.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.93% or 0.45 to $48.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.53% or 0.84 to hit $54.42 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.90% or 9.80 to trade at $1084.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.7993, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4610.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 97.41.
