Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 0.77% or 0.30 points to trade at 39.46 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.46% or 0.08 points to end at 17.56 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was up 0.41% or 0.025 points to 6.110 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 1.60% or 0.105 points to trade at 6.440 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.17% or 0.47 points to end at 39.63 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 1.05% or 0.23 points to 21.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.23% or 0.13 to $56.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.20% or 0.10 to hit $51.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.46 to trade at $1287.34 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.28% to 1.1841, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8965.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.93.
