Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 4.09% or 5.4 points to trade at 137.3 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.57% or 288 points to end at 8364 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 3.17% or 10.0 points to 325.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 0.63% or 0.8 points to trade at 125.8 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.44% or 4.0 points to end at 902.4 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.39% or 2.6 points to 665.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 42 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $66.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.20% or 0.15 to hit $76.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1216.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.5935, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4613.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 96.88.
