Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.74% or 150.0 points to trade at 8770.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 1.58% or 900.0 points to end at 57980.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.85% or 160.0 points to 18960.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 3.01% or 80.0 points to trade at 2580.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.69% or 0.4 points to end at 23.2 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 1.32% or 15.0 points to 1120.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.63% or 0.91 to $144.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.66% or 12.50 to hit $1916.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.16% or 14.55 to trade at $1235.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.51% to 2974.83, while BRL/COP fell 0.38% to 944.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 102.16.
