Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa), which rose 5.41% or 550 points to trade at 10720 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 5.17% or 540 points to end at 10990 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) was up 4.02% or 9.8 points to 253.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which fell 3.14% or 11.6 points to trade at 358.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 1.99% or 7.3 points to end at 359.7 and DSV (COP:DSV) was down 1.12% or 2.9 points to 255.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 65 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.31% or 0.15 to $48.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.63% or 0.33 to hit $52.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1145.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.6342, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.59.
