Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.78% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 1.69% or 40.0 points to trade at 2400.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.97% or 100.0 points to end at 10360.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.87% or 60.0 points to 6970.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 3.05% or 130.0 points to trade at 4130.0 at the close. Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 2.24% or 840.0 points to end at 36640.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was down 1.83% or 20.0 points to 1075.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.29% or 1.62 to $124.08 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.48% or 16.00 to hit $3306.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 1.32% or 14.10 to trade at $1055.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.68% to 3108.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.01% to 808.24.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 100.05.
