Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Insurance and Construction & Building Materials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Colorado (CS:COL), which rose 7.97% or 5.30 points to trade at 71.80 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) added 6.49% or 100 points to end at 1640 and Atlanta (CS:ATL) was up 6.15% or 4.00 points to 69.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which lost 9.99% or 6.97 points to trade at 62.83 in late trade. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 8.56% or 44.00 points to end at 470.00 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) shed 6.35% or 1.39 points to 20.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.13% or 0.09 to $69.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $78.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 7.50 to trade at $1199.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.12% to 10.9390, while USD/MAD rose 0.19% to 9.4448.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 95.36.
