Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Invest Companies & Other Finance and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which rose 5.98% or 10.60 points to trade at 187.80 at the close. Saham Assurance (CS:SAH) added 5.88% or 86 points to end at 1548 and Involys (CS:INV) was up 4.86% or 6.90 points to 148.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sothema (CS:SOT), which lost 5.16% or 71 points to trade at 1306 in late trade. Label Vie (CS:LBV) declined 3.49% or 60 points to end at 1660 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) shed 2.97% or 3.95 points to 129.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 25 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.72% or 0.41 to $57.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.72% or 0.46 to hit $63.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.62 to trade at $1285.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.17% to 11.0600, while USD/MAD fell 0.34% to 9.4979.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 94.45.
