Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Mining and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 9.93% or 8.96 points to trade at 99.15 at the close. Timar (CS:TIM) added 5.81% or 11.10 points to end at 202.00 and Bmce Bank (CS:BMCE) was up 3.63% or 6.90 points to 196.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sothema (CS:SOT), which lost 5.82% or 92 points to trade at 1488 in late trade. Atlanta (CS:ATL) declined 4.83% or 3.20 points to end at 63.10 and Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) shed 4.35% or 1.50 points to 33.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.22% or 0.84 to $69.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.15% or 0.90 to hit $78.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1203.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.08% to 10.9610, while USD/MAD rose 0.14% to 9.4015.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.26.
