Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.06% or 1.74 points to trade at 20.94 at the close. Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) added 4.47% or 0.50 points to end at 11.68 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) was up 4.03% or 3.70 points to 95.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020), which lost 3.94% or 0.60 points to trade at 14.64 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.39% or 0.80 points to end at 22.80 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) shed 3.28% or 2.00 points to 59.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 76 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.23% or 0.17 to $73.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $77.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1256.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.3675, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.37.
