Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Retail, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.56% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 4.64% or 1.00 points to trade at 22.54 at the close. Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) added 3.80% or 0.76 points to end at 20.74 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was up 3.60% or 1.08 points to 31.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350), which lost 2.07% or 0.23 points to trade at 10.86 in late trade. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 1.90% or 0.26 points to end at 13.40 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) shed 1.38% or 0.32 points to 22.82.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 114 to 63 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.73% or 0.45 to $61.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.51% or 0.35 to hit $67.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1320.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.5118, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 91.75.
