Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 3.30% or 1.85 points to trade at 57.85 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 1.46% or 4.2 points to end at 291.5 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.11% or 2.2 points to 196.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which lost 8.09% or 14.00 points to trade at 159.10 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.76% or 2.8 points to end at 157.3 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) shed 1.37% or 3.1 points to 223.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 361 to 263 and 40 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.39% or 0.25 to $63.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.26% or 0.18 to hit $69.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.80 to trade at $1334.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 9.8242, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 8.0323.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 90.36.
