Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.67% or 0.10 points to trade at 6.21 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.17% or 1.2 points to end at 99.9 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was up 0.51% or 1.9 points to 374.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which lost 1.88% or 0.79 points to trade at 41.27 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.86% or 2.6 points to end at 137.3 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.80% or 4.20 points to 228.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 364 to 249 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.94% or 1.32 to $66.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.35% or 1.03 to hit $75.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 6.00 to trade at $1297.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.29% to 10.2465, while USD/SEK rose 0.47% to 8.8118.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.37.
