Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 0.73% or 1.8 points to trade at 249.8 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 0.50% or 3.0 points to end at 606.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.46% or 1.6 points to 348.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 2.81% or 8.6 points to trade at 297.8 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.96% or 12.5 points to end at 625.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.38% or 10.0 points to 716.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.33% or 0.15 to $45.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.12% or 0.06 to hit $48.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 13.31 to trade at $1279.89 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.6301, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.94.
