Investment Strategy

The Fund has a disciplined and deliberate focus on Italian equities and aims to create a positive absolute returns un-correlated to the reference market. The Fund makes little and unsophisticated use of derivatives and invests only in listed securities. We would expect the Fund to do relatively well in a sober overall environment, while more pronounced trends would make the portfolio suffer from low-beta on the upside, or from significant net-long exposure on the downside.We expect the combination of a net /+5% equity exposure and some alpha, in particular on the long side, to allow for moderate positive absolute returns going forward, in a context of muted volatility. The Fund is suitable for investors with a high risk profile due to the securities and the techniques used to reach the investments objectives.
