Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 3.07%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 12.68% or 1080.0 points to trade at 9600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) added 7.55% or 80.0 points to end at 1140.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 6.26% or 320.0 points to 5430.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 1.09% or 25.0 points to trade at 2270.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 0.04% or 20.0 points to end at 55200.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 0.18% or 5.0 points to 2800.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 26 to 6.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; losing 1.09% or 25.0 to 2270.0. Shares in Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.04% or 20.0 to 55200.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.76% or 2.15 to $123.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 26.00 to hit $3114.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.00 to trade at $1123.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.69% to 3262.00, while BRL/COP rose 2.92% to 917.76.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 95.81.
