Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 2.36% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.01% or 70.0 points to trade at 7000.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.67% or 10.0 points to end at 1510.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.07% or 40.0 points to 58000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which fell 9.66% or 2280.0 points to trade at 21320.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 7.44% or 920.0 points to end at 11440.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was down 6.88% or 200.0 points to 2705.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 29 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.66% or 2280.0 to 21320.0. Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 3-years lows; down 7.44% or 920.0 to 11440.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.99% or 3.45 to $112.12 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.08% or 36.00 to hit $3355.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.50 to trade at $1081.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.18% to 3076.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.80% to 799.75.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 99.08.
