Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.37% or 55.0 points to trade at 1080.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.56% or 3.9 points to end at 253.8 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.17% or 1.7 points to 147.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 4.06% or 1.50 points to trade at 35.49 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.69% or 0.45 points to end at 65.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.63% or 2.0 points to 314.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 67 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.38% or 1.07 to $43.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.14% or 1.01 to hit $46.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1326.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.6094, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.27.
