Investing.com -- Crude stockpiles fell by more than expected last week, according to the latest government data.
Crude oil inventories fell by 754,000 barrels compared to the expected build of 127,000 barrels, according to the Energy Information Administration. It also reverses the prior week's 768,000 build.
Gasoline inventories rose 2.18 million barrels, against expectations for a build of 614,000 barrels. Oil stored at Cushing, Oklahoma, fell by 1.72 million barrels.
Crude Oil WTI Futures crude, the U.S. benchmark, rose 1% in early trading on Wednesday, to $45.33.
