Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 7.10% or 430.0 points to trade at 6490.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 2.52% or 880.0 points to end at 35860.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 1.91% or 680.0 points to 36280.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 6.09% or 410.0 points to trade at 6320.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 5.43% or 700.0 points to end at 12200.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 1.93% or 35.0 points to 1775.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 10.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 3-years lows; falling 5.43% or 700.0 to 12200.0. Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; down 1.93% or 35.0 to 1775.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.31% or 2.80 to $123.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.13% or 4.00 to hit $3093.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 2.10% or 23.40 to trade at $1137.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.54% to 3046.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.26% to 774.17.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 96.05.
