Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Retail and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 9.74% or 3.70 points to trade at 41.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) added 9.62% or 5.75 points to end at 65.50 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) was up 5.78% or 4.00 points to 73.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030), which fell 7.39% or 3.75 points to trade at 47.00 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 5.67% or 0.70 points to end at 11.65 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was down 5.49% or 1.50 points to 25.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 78.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.65% or 0.62 to $38.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.49% or 0.56 to hit $37.91 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.68% or 7.30 to trade at $1075.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 4.1146, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7528.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 98.02.
