Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.15%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 7.63% or 510.0 points to trade at 7190.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 7.10% or 920.0 points to end at 13880.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 3.24% or 45.0 points to 1435.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 4.76% or 85.0 points to trade at 1700.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) declined 0.84% or 10.0 points to end at 1190.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was down 0.57% or 10.0 points to 1740.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 9.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; down 4.76% or 85.0 to 1700.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.49% or 0.62 to $127.90 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $3081.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.82% or 9.30 to trade at $1146.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.57% to 2916.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.18% to 758.66.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.72% at 95.53.
