Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which rose 2.58% or 11.8 points to trade at 469.2 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.35% or 6.0 points to end at 260.8 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) was up 1.73% or 11.0 points to 646.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.54% or 39.5 points to trade at 830.5 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 3.34% or 10.4 points to end at 301.3 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) shed 2.90% or 3.7 points to 123.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 58 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.72% or 1.43 to $39.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.36% or 0.95 to hit $41.28 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 2.92% or 35.90 to trade at $1265.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.92% to 6.5816, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4531.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.02% at 94.72.
