Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which rose 0.52% or 1.3 points to trade at 253.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 0.46% or 0.60 points to end at 131.20 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.42% or 0.70 points to 166.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.26% or 5.8 points to trade at 250.3 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) declined 1.51% or 4.9 points to end at 318.7 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 1.22% or 2.0 points to 162.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 314 to 255 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.43% or 0.60 to $42.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.21% or 0.98 to hit $45.65 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.70% or 7.50 to trade at $1068.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.14% to 9.2690, while USD/SEK rose 0.21% to 8.7369.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 99.94.
