Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Invest Companies & Other Finance and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Afric Industries Sa (CS:AFIND), which rose 5.44% or 17.55 points to trade at 340.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) added 5.00% or 10.00 points to end at 210.00 and Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) was up 4.00% or 40 points to 1040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Label Vie (CS:LBV), which fell 5.38% or 64 points to trade at 1125 at the close. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 5.16% or 5.45 points to end at 100.00 and Wafa Assurance (CS:WASS) was down 5.14% or 190 points to 3500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 14.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.61% or 0.67 to $42.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.06% or 0.47 to hit $45.34 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.61% or 6.40 to trade at $1062.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.01% to 10.6390, while USD/MAD rose 0.29% to 10.0715.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 100.28.
