Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 1.20% or 7.0 points to trade at 589.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 0.16% or 40.0 points to end at 25180.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 15000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 1.39% or 140.0 points to trade at 9960.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.26% or 780.0 points to end at 61220.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.07% or 25.0 points to 2310.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 3 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.99% or 1.55 to $157.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.26% or 7.00 to hit $2710.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 3.15 to trade at $1264.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.25% to 2938.27, while BRL/COP rose 1.18% to 941.12.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 98.74.
