Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 4.43% or 2.00 points to trade at 47.10 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 3.31% or 0.45 points to end at 14.05 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was up 3.31% or 0.45 points to 14.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which lost 6.67% or 0.65 points to trade at 9.10 in late trade. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) declined 3.32% or 0.50 points to end at 14.55 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) shed 3.10% or 1.20 points to 37.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 85 to 60 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.60% or 0.27 to $44.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.13% or 0.06 to hit $45.58 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.98% or 12.45 to trade at $1277.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.2801, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 93.94.
