Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which rose 8.76% or 6.7 points to trade at 83.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS) added 4.52% or 1.85 points to end at 42.72 and Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL) was up 4.39% or 1.75 points to 41.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norsk Hydro ASA (OSLO:NHY), which fell 2.52% or 0.82 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) declined 2.02% or 8.3 points to end at 403.3 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OSLO:FOE) was down 1.83% or 0.9 points to 49.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 67 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.59% or 0.83 to $53.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.99% or 0.57 to hit $58.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1154.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.67% to 8.9456, while USD/NOK rose 0.47% to 8.1238.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 96.83.
